Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026
This policy explains what data the Earth Collector app (the "app") collects, why, and what you can do about it. The app is made by Grido AB ("we", "us"), which is responsible for your data (data controller).

The short version
- We collect only what the game needs to save your progress, sell globe packs and improve the game.
- No ads, no ad tracking, and we never sell your data.
- The app does not use your location. Places on the map come from public map data, not from you.
- You can delete your account and all its data at any time, right in the app.
What we collect
- Account. If you sign in with Apple or with email: your email address (with Apple, possibly a private relay address chosen by you) and a random user ID. If you play as a guest: only a random user ID.
- Game progress. Your save game (coins, tickets, travelers, explored regions, settings) so it survives reinstalls and moves between your devices.
- Purchases. Which globe packs you bought and when, and your globe balance. Payment itself is handled by Apple — we never see your card or payment details.
- Gameplay statistics. Events such as "session started", "tutorial step reached", "trip started" or "upgrade bought", the number of taps per session, the app version, and a random device ID. We use them, in aggregate, to see how the game is played and to fix and balance it.
- Technical data. Like every internet service, our providers receive your IP address when the app connects. It is used to deliver the service and is not used to identify you.
We do not collect contacts, photos, location, health data, or anything outside the app.
Why we use it (legal bases)
- To provide the game, your account, cloud saves and purchases (performance of our contract with you).
- To understand and improve the game and prevent cheating and fraud (our legitimate interest in running a fair, working game).
- To meet legal obligations, for example bookkeeping for purchases.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase — hosts our database and handles sign-in (accounts, saves, statistics, globe balance).
- RevenueCat — verifies in-app purchases with Apple. It receives your random user ID and purchase records.
- Apple — Sign in with Apple, payments and the App Store.
- Expo — delivers app updates.
These providers only process data on our behalf and under data processing agreements. Some of them may process data outside the EU/EEA; where they do, this is covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules reminders on your device (for example "your traveler arrived"). They are created locally on your phone; no push token is sent to us.
How long we keep it
As long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your account, save game, globe balance and statistics linked to it are deleted. Purchase records may be kept as long as required by bookkeeping laws.
Deleting your account
In the app: tap the account button (top right) → Delete account → confirm. This deletes your account and your game on all devices immediately. You can also email us and we will do it for you.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, object to or restrict its use, and take it with you. Email [email protected]. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Sweden: Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY).
Children
Earth Collector is a general-audience game. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) beyond what is needed to run the game. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
